Foreign Exchange Trading Times

The spot FX-market is unique worldwide compared to other trading markets. For banks and financial institutions, there is always a financial centre open around the clock, night and day, for foreign currency transactions. Trading is halted only for a short time on weekends. Foreign exchange markets basically follow the sun around the world, giving traders the flexibility to set the trading day for themselves.
