How Long Does It Take for Deposits by Wire Bank Transfer to Appear in My Trading Account?
Deposits are credited upon receipt. Deposits made by international bank wire transfer need about 3 to 5 banking days, depending on the executing bank. Deposits transferred by EU standard bank wire transfer (within Europe) take about 2 banking days.
May I Send a Wire Drawn on Someone Else’s Account?
Deposits can be made exclusively from the trading account holder's own bank account (also applies to joint account holders). FXCM may not receive any payment via a third party.
Can I Make a Wire Transfer Deposit Using a Currency Other than My Trading Account is Denominated?
Deposits can be made in any currency. If you send a deposit in a currency other than your trading account is denominated, FXCM’s bank will automatically convert your deposit into the currency the bank account you are transferring is denominated.
