How Can I Open a Demo Account? 

You can activate an FXCM demo account any time during trading hours (Sunday 5:15 PM EST through Friday 5:00 PM EST) and put your skills in the financial markets to the test. The demo account is, of course, free of charge and without obligation – even if you open multiple accounts. 

The following demo accounts are available: 

• USD Mini demo (F1) = Mini account 
  Account denomination: U.S. Dollar
  Virtual account credit: USD 5,000
  
  
• EUR Mini demo = Mini account
  Account denomination: Euro 
  Virtual account credit: EUR 50,000
  
  
• GBP Mini demo = Mini account
  Account denomination: British Pound
  Virtual account credit: GBP 50,000 

The demo account is valid for a period of 30 days, after which it automatically expires. You can activate the demo account here. Activating your account is simple and easy; your access data and the download file of the FXCM trading platform (FX Trading Station 2.0) appear instantly. Please make a note of your access data and install the trading software. 

Next, launch the trading platform using either the icon on your desktop or via the Start menu of your operating system.
