FXCM Has More Than USD 600 Million of Active Customer Capital

FXCM provides its proprietary trading technology and platform, as well as banks and brokers. Thus, the total account balances of all of the traders working with the FXCM trading platform on the forex market is in excess of USD 600 million.

By September 2006, FXCM already had client capital of more than USD 215 million of the USD 770 million in total deposited at all forex brokers registered with NFA at the time. The 31 forex brokers at the NFA had combined customer capital totaling USD 795 million, and fully a third of those funds were entrusted to FXCM accounts.

More than 165,000 trading accounts from approximately 150 countries traded with the FXCM platform, averaging more than 7 million transactions a month.

FXCM offers customer assistance and support around the clock in more than a dozen languages.

Since 2001 FXCM has been able to increase its staff to more than 600 permanent employees across all of its departments, including research, trading, IT and customer support. In 2006 FXCM introduced pricing and order execution via large banks and financial institutions (no dealing desk, no market maker), resulting in highly transparent and competitive pricing and bid/ask spreads.
